WEEK 2

Monday, January 19th, 2026.

I'm a student at BUAP in the faculty of languages, and I see your point and largely agree. Before I started studying my major I worked for one year, and I had an interview. Let me tell you, that was something that made me feel very nervous. I had no one to guide me or give me an advice, and I wish someone had told me these tips before.

I want to say that the point that you mentioned about preparing some questions is great, because in that way the interviewer can see how interest you are, especially if you ask something interesting that they didn't expect. This helps you stand out from the rest of the other candidates. Even if you don't think it's very important, they can see great qualities on you.

Thank you for the tips!!

Hi, sorry I forgot to write yesterday. But don’t worry, I’m here. Yesterday felt like a really cold day. My hands and feet were shaking. Even though I was wearing socks and gloves, my toes and fingers were freezing. For breakfast, I had oatmeal with strawberries, and it was really good. One thing I have to confess is that I love strawberries a lot. I think I could eat them all the time because you can eat them on their own or with other fruits, chocolate, yogurt, honey, and more.

This is for today's blog. See u later.

Today, my day didn't start as well as I had wished. I woke up feeling a bit sore in my throat. It was awful. But I said to myself, "Don't let that bother you," so I decided to prepare some tea and take it to school. I want to share that one of my friends told me how she's getting ready and preparing for this summer, because she is going to a summer camp in the USA, in the state of Maine. I could see she is really excited about this whole experience, and I'm glad she is.

One amazing thing I have to mention today is what happened in my Target Language class. Today, we started working on Unit 2, which focuses on food. During the lesson, I learned a new word: yeast. This word refers to single-celled fungi that reproduce mainly by budding and are crucial for fermentation in foods such as bread, beer, and wine. Now, I know this word, and I'm going to use it from now on.

Today was also a very cold day, but it was great.

Thanks for reading this post.

Welcome to another chapter of controlled chaos. Today, it was a great day because I started my music classes 🎵 after a vacation. But at the same time, I wanted to have more vacation 📆. Unfortunately, vacations are over, but I enjoyed them a lot. When I arrived at my music class, I saw two of my friends from last semester, and that made me so happy 😊.

At the Faculty of Languages, in my Target Language class, we reviewed with Angela the pronunciation of the letter y. I was not aware of how different this phoneme is in English and Spanish. With this review, I became more confident about it. If you don't know, the sound of /y/ in English is like the way we pronounce the word Hielo 🧊 "hie" in Spanish, and it was really cool to practice it. I hope we continue to practice pronunciation more.

P.d. I don't know if I mentioned this before, but Angela is from Los Angeles. She is helping us with pronunciation to sound more natural. I wish 🌟 I can achive this goal.

Thanks for stopping by. See you later 🌻.

Let’s talk about today. Today, I started classes at 9 a.m., so I woke up late. Yeahhhh! No, no, no! That’s something I wish I were able to say, but it didn’t happen. I woke up at 1 a.m. Why? This is the best thing that has happened to me since I’ve been living in Puebla 😊.

At 1 a.m., a cacomistle visited the place where I live, and it was something I didn’t expect at all. As far as I know, cacomistles live in places where there are lots of trees 🌳, fruits 🍓, and bugs 🐜. To be honest, near where I live, there’s nothing like that. Maybe a couple of bushes on the street, but nothing particularly special about them. So, what was this little friend doing outside my room? That’s a question I’m still wondering about 😋.

P.d. I went back to sleep after I saw my new little.

I’ll see you further down the road
