WEEK 3
Monday, January 26th, 2026.
Hi! Welcome back after some rest. Today, I want to share something that happened to me during the day. First of all, do you remember that I mentioned last week that I study music? 😃 If not, don’t worry, let me tell you a little bit more about it.
I’ve been studying music since last semester, and that’s a decision I’m really glad I made. I’m also very thankful to one of my best friends, Yadhi, for giving me that little push and encouraging me to follow my dreams 💟.
So today, I went to arrange my piano class with the professor. I was so excited, and in my mind, I had the perfect schedule for my class, which was Wednesdays from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. ⏰ But my plans were completely ruined because when I arrived at the classroom, the professor told me that both Tuesday and Wednesday were already full. The only available times he had were 2:30 or 6:00.
I thought, Wow! This is unbelievable. How is everything already taken? In the end, I chose the 2:30 class and left.
This is my second time going through this, and I’m so close to not being able to take the class. Next year, I’m going to go earlier so I can get the class at the time I want 😊.
See you on the next adventure.

Hi there! 🐱
Today, my day started well. I had my first class at 7 a.m. It was phonetics and phonology. Little by little, I’m understanding all the terms and concepts that the teacher is explaining to us. So far, the concepts we’ve seen aren’t very difficult, but I want to make sure I’m understanding everything correctly ✅.
Then, my second class was translation, but it got canceled. I didn’t check the Teams platform earlier, so I didn’t know there wasn’t going to be class 😕. Next, I had my Target Language class, where we talked about food 🍳, and we made eight graphs illustrating the results of the questions we created and sent to some of our classmates to answer. It took us longer than we expected 😨, but we finished before the class ended.
I really enjoy doing art and crafts, collages, and similar activities. It’s more fun when you work in teams and use colored pencils, markers, paper, and other materials. In the end, we just pasted it on the wall. Let’s see if tomorrow we’re going to present our results in front of our classmates.
Thanks for reading. Catch you later!

Hellooooo! How are you feeling? I hope you’re doing okay and that this blog helps you forget about any problems you might have, at least for a little while.
Today, in my Target Language class, we did a very interesting exercise. It was very similar to the ones the TOEFL has in the writing section of the exam we take to certify our English. We worked in teams of four, analyzed three graphs, and tried to write the percentages. We had 10 minutes to do it.
Now I understand why we worked with graphs yesterday. To continue practicing this skill, Teacher Dalila assigned us homework to analyze the results of the graphs we made yesterday. I like the direction this activity is taking. I bet tomorrow we’re going to present it. I’ll let you know 😉.
Bye!

Hello! I’m happy you stopped by today. To be honest, my day started a little sad 😞. But as soon as I met my friend Mia at the faculty, my day started to get better 🌻. After my first class ended around 9 a.m., Mia and I looked for Yadhi, but she wasn’t at the faculty. Five minutes later, she surprised us from behind, giving us a big hug 💗. It made me so happy and filled me with warmth 😊.
Now, let’s jump to the Target Language class. Today, we learned some word combinations that we can use when talking about our lives 👥👥. The words were boost, lifestyle, valuable, can’t afford, worth it, standard of living, cost of living, balance, traded, time well spent, and quality of life. We practiced them by playing a video game similar to Pac-Man, which was a lot of fun ✌.
Then, during the second hour, we improvised a role play using vocabulary related to accepting, making, and refusing offers in social situations. We did it in teams. My team was Karla, Gabi, Mia, and me. I think I work so fluently because the girls are my friends. All the teams went to the front and performed their role plays. I liked all of them, it was really nice to see everyone’s work, but I think the one my team did was the best 👌. I loved it 💟. I really enjoy doing role plays; they’re fun.
P.D. I love to have Mia and Yadhi in the faculty 💖. They're my best friends, and I appreciate them a lot.

Hi guys. Today was one of those days you don’t want to end, but at the same time, you want it to go by fast. I don’t know why I felt like that 😖. Mmmmm… probably because I’m going to have a long weekend. This is because we have a national holiday this Monday. Schools in Mexico are closed, so as you can see, it’s going to be a really long weekend 📅.
But anyway, let me tell you more about today. I arrived earlier to see my friends, and we talked for a long time. Then we got something to eat 🍱, and time flew by 🕐, so by the time we checked our phones, it was already time to go to class.
Today, in the Target Language class, we continued reviewing grammar, and it was so cool because we did it through a game. At the beginning, it was hard for me because it was similar to Flappy Bird 🐥, and I have to admit that I’m really bad at that game. But as the game went on, I managed to play better.
In this game, instead of a bird, there was a little airplane that had to go through clouds ☁, which showed the answer to the question. Yesterday, in the game we played, I got fifth place, and today the same thing happened. I hope that one of these days I get first place. I do it correctly, but I’ve noticed that I need to be faster.
The expressions we reviewed while playing were too much, too many, not too much, not too many, too, and enough. After the game, we answered some pages. Finally, as our exit ticket 🎫, we worked in teams to write a text about how to have good quality time using the expressions I mentioned before.
That's all for today!
