WEEK 7

 Monday, February 23rd, 2026.

Hello, everyone!! Guess what? Today we had online classes because the situation in the country became a little complicated on Sunday morning. Fortunately, my friends and family are safe, and they didn’t have to go through a difficult situation like the ones I saw in the news.

Despite that situation, we were able to have classes online. But I have to admit that the classes were not as easy as I thought they would be. The first two classes were more complicated, but Target Language class was easier.

We worked in the book and did an activity in pairs. We practiced how to give an apology. We pretended we had a company and that there was a problem. I worked with Mia, and we did great.

Look at what we did.

I liked it a lot. And it was all for today.

See you next time 😌.

Tuesday, February 24th, 2026.

Hi hi hiii! This morning I had a lot of thoughts on my mind, and I liked it because they were all really positive 😌. I’m so grateful for everything I have in my life 💖, everything I have achieved with a lot of effort. It makes me realize how many steps 👣 I have taken to be where I am. This makes me want to set bigger and more ambitious goals.

I also realized very consciously that I’m halfway through my major, and that makes me happy, but it also scares me 😨. I don’t have a clear idea of how I’m going to reach my goal without skipping step two, and three because that’s not possible. Everything in life has a process, and I’m aware of that ☝.

What are your short and long-term goals? Are you curious about where the decisions you are making now are going to take you?

Questions like these were going through my mind. And I’m really curious what plans do you have for yourself? 💭

Sending you good vibes!! See u  later.

Wednesday. February 25th, 2026.

Knock, knock,... It's me again! I have excellent news for today. It's the firts time I'm in the podium 🏆. Yeeii! 🙌 Just look at this picture and you can see it by yourselves.

I was so happy when I saw I was on the podium 😄. My first thought was, “I need to share this on the blog!” Hahaha. I was so happy because, if you remember, a few weeks ago I told you I had all the answers right, but I wasn’t fast enough. However, this time I made it. And I wanted to share this with you 😊.

Next time, we’re going for first place! 💪 Hahahaha

This was the happiest moment of the day so far.

I hope more little things like this make my day even better 💫.

Sending you good vibes!!

Wednesday, February 25th, 2026.

Hi there! How are you? I hope you’re doing great. Today was a good day. I love Cultural Studies. 💜 I think it’s a really interesting subject. For me, it’s like a small history class, and I love it. Let me confess something: if I hadn’t chosen this major, I would be studying history 😆.

In class, the teacher talked to us about the history of English. It was so cool to see the origins of England, how English developed, and its evolution through the centuries. Unfortunately, we haven’t finished seeing everything yet 😕, but so far we have learned about many important aspects that have had a huge impact on how we perceive the English language today.

I’m wondering what kind of cool things we’re going to see on Monday 💫😋.

Catch you later!

Thursday, February 26th, 2026.

Hello there!!! Today, in Phonetics and Phonology class, we did a brief review of what we have seen on the IPA chart, and we did it by playing bingo. It was nice to do this activity because I realized there are some things I need to review again to fully understand them. It was an activity I didn’t expect at all. I like it when we do activities like this. I hope the professor gives us another activity like this again.

Then, in Target Language class, Gaby, Mia, and I did an activity that consisted of creating an idea for urban art. We decided to create a sculpture that is going to be exhibited in Gaby’s mom’s town. I really like the image we created (I’ll show it to you) and the deep meaning we gave it. It has a strong identity, and the people there can identify with this work of art.

After that, Angela came to the classroom, and we practiced using expressions to ask for and receive help from others. It was nice. I didn’t pass, but I really liked the work and effort my classmates put into this activity.

Finally, in the last two minutes of class, Miss Dalila told us that our midterm exams are going to start next week. Man! I can’t believe it. It feels like the semester started just a couple of days ago. But I guess that’s how life goes. So, I’ll make sure to appreciate and value every minute of my life.

This is the picture of the sculpture we imagined.

See you next time.

Hey guys! I’m feeling a little bit sick today 😷, so honestly, I felt a little more down than usual 😞. Sorry that I don’t have much to say.

Talk to you soon 💟.
